KENAI -- A fishing guide discovered the body of a man whose canoe capsized last month on the Kenai River.

The body of Stephen Boyer, 57, of Fair Play, Calif., was found Tuesday six miles from the river's Naptowne Rapids, where the canoe overturned on June 26.

Boyer clung to the canoe and was swept downstream, while another man, Tad Fumakoshi, managed to swim to shore. He was not injured.
